Oasis was founded by roommates, Juliet Kelso and Kimberly Gehrmann. Originally Kimberly subleased a room from Juliet when she was job searching in San Francisco. The two bonded over their experiences as women leaders working in male-dominated industries.
We create spaces and experiences for emerging women leaders to connect, collaborate, find their next co-founder, and share knowledge and resources with one another. In an industry and culture created for men by men, it is imperative that women building and influencing the development of innovative tech products have psychologically safe, supportive, and enriching spaces where they can express their full selves, and find the resources and empowerment they need to innovate and build with excellence. Oasis also founded and operates the first ever all-women's AI tech house in San Francisco, and helps other women take advantage of Bay Area tech opportunities by hosting visiting fellows and helping women move to San Francisco to advance their careers and scale their companies. We give women leaders and founders a platform by hosting speaker events and increasing exposure.
